| Today, we remember the life and service of Firefighter Charles "Charlie" D. Wilson. On the morning of June 28th, 2012, Firefighter Wilson died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident while en route to his fire station.
Firefighter Wilson Joined the Mineral Volunteer Fire Department in 2006, where he began his extensive training and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. In 2009, Charlie started as a part-time firefighter in Louisa County and became full-time in August 2010 for the Louisa County Fire & EMS Department.
Firefighter Wilson will forever be remembered by his family and friends, and his impact on Louisa County will always be honored. |
