Yesterday, that pride was on full display as M.V.F.D. debuted our brand new Engine-2—a rig designed with patience, discipline, and intention. Every detail was built to support aggressive, efficient firefighting and to protect the citizens of Mineral and Louisa County.

A proud tradition in the fire service is friendly competition between companies, and our members brought their best to the Colonial Beach Fireman’s Parade. After countless hours preparing the rig, shining tools, inspecting gear, and squaring away uniforms, our crew was judged across several categories:
🚒 Vehicle – cleanliness and function
🧑‍🚒 Personnel – appearance, PPE, and uniforms
🛠️ Equipment – quality, maintenance, and layout
📚 Knowledge – firefighting know-how

We’re proud to share that M.V.F.D. was awarded:

We’re grateful for the continued fellowship with the Colonial Beach Fireman’s Department, a bond built over decades.
